Awbridge Primary School PTA
About
The PTA raise thousands of pounds each year through organising various activities and events for both the children and adults. From Summer Fetes, Christmas fayres, school discos and movie nights through to simple playground cake sales.
The money raised is used to provide extras for the children such as equipment and resources which would not otherwise be available within the school budget, to enhance our children’s education and enjoyment of school.
In recent years this has included funding Ipads and Chromebooks for use throughout each year group, funding the purchase of various resources for science and history, outdoor play equipment, creating an eco garden around our pond, providing money for new books and sports training, our MUGA (which enables us to continue with outdoor PE lessons in the winter months) our mile a day track which is hugely popular with the children and encourages year round fitness and most recently, AV equipment for our school hall, which allows for much better sound during assemblies and productions to name but a few.

Upcoming Fundrasing events
PTA Summer Fete - Friday 13th June, 5-7pm.
Hay Bales: if you are able to provide (and deliver) hay bales for sitting on, please email the school office.
Chocolate: We will be holding a non school uniform day before the fete (date tbc) in exchange for the chocolate tombola!
Cakes: Any budding bakers, we need cakes for our "cafe". Please bring in on the morning of the fete. No nuts please.
Plants: we would love to have a plant stall. If anyone has any they would like to donate it would be much appreciated. Please bring on the morning of the fete.
External stall holders: if you know anyone that would potentially like to come and sell their wares at the fete, please do pass on the school email details and get them to make contact.
Lastly if anyone has any lawn games we could borrow please let us know.
Thank you for all of the bottles we received in the school last term - so very much appreciated.
Raffle tickets will be coming home soon. There are lots of amazing prizes to be won!

Funds Raised
- "Break the Rules" day - we raised a huge £270. Thank you to all the children and parents that participated.
- Rags2Riches - Thank you all for your kind generations to this cause. This raised £62.07 for the school.
Ongoing Fundraising
- We are registered with My Nametags and any purchase can help raise money for our school using code: 70952
- We have joined forces with a company called Denner UK to start a no cost recycling programme to collect any empty inkjet and toner cartridges. We have a recycling box at the front of the school and each collected item will earn £1 for the school. Please follow the below links for further information.
